These cheeseburger sliders are easy to make for game day or weeknight dinners. Sliders are layered with flavor packed ground beef and cheese then baked until juicy!
In a small bowl, whisk together 6 Tablespoon butter, 1 Tablespoon mustard, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, and 1 teaspoon sesame seeds. Set aside.
Hamburgers
Preheat the oven to 350°F and butter a 9x13" baking dish. Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally using a large bread knife. Make sure to keep the rolls connected to each other while cutting. Once sliced, remove the top section and place on a cutting board. Spread 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise over the inside. Add the bottom section of the rolls to your baking dish.
In a medium bowl, combine one pound ground beef, 2 Tablespoons BBQ sauce, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Divide and press beef mixture into 12 small patties. In a skillet over medium heat, cook about 2 minutes per side, or until the center is no longer pink.
In the baking dish, place a patty onto each roll. Add the slices of cheese and cover with top roll section, evenly matching up the rolls.
Pour sauce evenly over the rolls. Let sit about 10 minutes for sauce to soak in.
Cover sliders with foil and bake 10 to 15 minutes. Uncover and cook an additional 2 minutes to brown the top of the rolls.
Add desired toppings, by removing the top rolls. Place a toothpick in the middle to hold together, if desired. Best served while hot.
Notes
Variation:
