½orange bell pepper , reserving the stem if desired
½cupshredded mozzarella
Instructions
Prep. Preheat the oven to 450°F. On a well-floured surface, divide 1/2 pound pizza dough in half and let come to room temperature if it's been refrigerated.
Roll out pizza crust. Using a rolling pin or by tossing, roll or toss each half until 1/4-inch thick and about a 8-inch circle.
Add sauce. Lightly brush oil onto a pizza stone or large baking sheet. Transfer dough onto the stone or baking sheet. Spread sauce evenly over the dough.
Spiders
Slice each olive in half, reserving whole halves for spider bodies. Slice the other halves, horizontally, into small strips for legs.
Sprinkle cheese over the top of the dough. Make the spiders by placing a whole half of an olive, cut-side down, onto the cheese. Add 8 strips around the olive to create legs. Repeat with as many spiders as you like.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Mummy or Ghosts
For the mummy: slice the mozzarella slices into strips. Place over the sauce in an uneven pattern to look like bandages. Add 2 olives to each pizza for eyes.
For the ghosts: Place 3 mozzarella slices on each pizza. Slice the olives and add 2 slices to each mozzarella slice for eyes.
Bake 13 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Jack-o'-lantern
Cut 1 pepperoni slice into triangles for the noses. Slice the bell pepper into 2 fun shapes for the mouths.
Sprinkle cheese over the top of the dough. Add 2 whole pepperonis for eyes. Add a triangle pepperoni for the nose. Place the bell pepper as the mouth. Repeat with the other pizza. Add the stem of the bell pepper on top, if desired.
Bake 13 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
