These pizza sliders are made with Hawaiian rolls layered with pepperoni, pizza sauce, mozzarella and brushed with a garlic Parmesan buttery topping. They are a party favorite!
Preheat oven to 350° F. Butter a 9×13 dish and then place the bottom half of the rolls into the pan.
Spread 1 cup pizza sauce over the rolls. Place the pepperonis on top. Sprinkle 1-2 cups mozzarella on top.
Make garlic butter topping. Meanwhile, stir together 1/4 cup butter, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt and 2-3 Tablespoons Parmesan cheese in a small bowl. Then place top of the rolls on. Pour butter mixture over the top.
Cover with foil and bake for 12 minutes. Uncover and bake and additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted. Add some freshly grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley on top if desired.
Notes
Pepperoni: I like to use a mix of traditional pepperoni and thinly sliced deli pepperonis. Toppings: You could also add thinly sliced pepper, onions or cooked sausage as well.
