FREE Printables to host your next Cookie Swap {CCC}

 Hi everyone! I’m Abbey, I’m the voice behind The Cards We Drew and I am also the blogger for DimplePrints. I’m excited to share these FREE printables for your next cookie swap.

My personal blog, The Cards We Drew, focuses on my adventures in crafting, cooking, and parenthood, as well as dabbling a little bit in other arenas. I have a passion for party planning that was spurred on when my son had his first birthday and I was introduced to DimplePrints, where I now blog about party planning and preparations. I’m a busy mommy blogger, who also gets to work with Jamielyn here at I {Heart} Naptime (yay!) and I truly enjoy all the amazing ladies I keep meeting through blogging!

Today the owners of DimplePrints, Carli and Mike, and I decided we’d team together and give you a HUGE FREE Cookie Exchange party package to plan your Cookie Swap Party this year. Even better? Earlier this week Kyla, from Funky Polkadot Giraffe, gave you instructions on HOW to host a cookie exchange party! So now that you know HOW, we’re giving you the free prints on WHAT to decorate with!! Perfect timing, huh? And we didn’t even plan it that way!

This package is 91 pages of party planning goodness that includes:

  • Banners (Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas, Cookie Xchange, and spacers)
  • Favor Tags
  •  Tags for milk
  •  Food/Cookie Labels and Numbered Labels
  •  Party Hats
  • Favor Box Instructions
  •  Matching patterned paper
  • Pennants
  • Welcome signs
  • Various Other signs (Milk Bar, Cocoa Bar, Please Take One, Cast Your Votes, Welcome, Cookie Exchange, Cookies with Santa, and more)
  •  Fill in Matching Invitations
  • Santa Letters
  •  Wish List Letters
  • Shopping List Letters
  • Cookie Voting Sheets
  • Cookie Award Tags
  •  Matching Recipe Cards
WOW! That’s a whole party package for you and it’s F-R-E-E! Yippee!!
You can download the full package by going HERE.
{Please note that this package is uploaded from Scribd and is completely free. You must have the most recent version of Adobe for it to work correctly. Additionally, this package is for personal use only, it may not be resold and images cannot be used for resale purposes.}

I also thought that in the spirit of a fabulous Cookie Exchange, I’d share with you a quick and easy cookie recipe (in case the thought of baking scares you away from a Cookie Exchange) that I absolutely love and that you’ll likely already have all the items in your pantry already to make (I did at least).

Here’s an easy recipe for an Easy Shortbread Cookie that is sure to delight

Ingredients:
1 cup butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cups sifted all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat butter until light and creamy. Add 1/2 cup sugar and beat until fluffy. Sift flour with the salt and baking powder and fold into butter mixture. Put dough on an unbuttered baking sheet and pat into a 1/2 inch thick rectangle. Mark the dough for cutting with the point of a knife. Sprinkle with remaining sugar and bake in center of oven for 15 minutes or until edges are very lightly browned. Cool for 15 minutes and then cut into bars. Note: I added Christmas M&M’s into recipe for some added fun.

And of course, while you’re making these super easy cookies, you need a little helper to assist. :)

Hope you enjoy the party package and recipe! Please be sure to stop by DimplePrints and The Cards We Drew this holiday for more project inspiration. Also, if you like this cookie exchange package, you’ll love the DimplePrints FREE Thanksgiving Party Package!

Many thanks to Jamielyn for having us today and we hope your Cookie Exchanges go fabulously this year! If you use our Cookie Exchange prints and would like featured on our blog, please email me photos of your party at [email protected] We’d LOVE to show off your parties!
