Ingredient Notes

Find the full printable recipe with specific measurements below.
- Lime sherbet: Just one container is needed. I like to soften mine so it’s easier to scoop into the punch bowl.
- Sprite: Any lemon lime soda works even Sprite zero.
- Pineapple juice: I love the tropical flavor this adds but you can use Hawaiian Punch Green Berry Rush instead or even omit the Sprite.
- Green food coloring (optional): Adding a few drops of food color really intensifies the green color in this easy Grinch punch recipe especially if serving at a themed Grinch party.
How to Make Grinch Punch with Sherbet
Pour Sprite and pineapple juice into a large punch bowl. Stir to combine. Add a few drops of green food coloring until its your desired shade of green.

Add the container of lime sherbet, one scoop at a time. Serve beverage while watching the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Tips and Variations
- Soda: Any lemon-lime soda works in this green punch as well as Ginger Ale. You could even use lemon lime Kool-Aid or Green Hawaiian punch in place of pineapple!
- Instead of a punch bowl: You can use a large pitcher for this party punch, but it really looks so pretty in a punch bowl especially if serving at holiday parties.
- Serve immediately: This Grinch punch is best served right away. If serving at a Christmas party, add the sherbet just before serving to guests, as it will melt.
- Red sugar rim: To serve this kid-friendly Christmas punch, dip the rim of a glass in water then in red sanding sugar or green sanding sugar.
- Additional ideas: You could also add sprinkles to the rim of the glass or candy hearts to float on top.
