- Moist and fluffy: The perfect banana bread with a sweet taste and tender crumb and best banana flavor!
Ingredients
- Box cake mix: I used yellow cake mix, but you can use funfetti or any flavor you would like.
- Ripe bananas: Ripe and spotty are best, you will need about 3 bananas.
- Eggs: Two large eggs.
- Melted butter: You can also use vegetable oil or canola oil.
- Vanilla extract: I find this balances the sweet flavors.

Add-Ins and Variations
- Fresh or dried fruit: Add in fresh fruit like blueberries or try a cranberry banana bread! Dried fruit like raisins, cranberries or chopped apricots add chewy texture.
- Nutty: For a banana nut bread, add chopped walnuts, cashews, almonds or pecans!
- Chocolate chip: Bananas and chocolate pair perfectly together just like in my banana chocolate chip muffins!
- Muffins: Instead of a banana loaf, try mini banana muffins or banana bread muffins by baking in muffin tins instead!
