These Fudgy Nutella Brownies Are Irresistible

I’ve always had a soft spot for Nutella, so it’s no surprise these brownies are a family favorite. They’re everything I love in a chocolate dessert: chewy, fudgy, and perfectly gooey in the center.

The best part is you only need one bowl and three simple ingredients: Nutella, eggs, and flour. No cocoa powder required! I like to add an extra swirl of Nutella on top before baking, and it always makes these brownies irresistible to any chocoholic.

If you love brownies as much as my family does, you’ll also want to try my homemade brownies, fudge frosted brownies and brownies from cake mix!

Ingredient Notes

Ingredients for 3 ingredient Nutella brownies: eggs, Nutella, and flour.

Find the full printable recipe with specific measurements below.

  • Nutella: The star of the recipe, giving these brownies their rich chocolate hazelnut flavor.
  • Eggs: Help bind the batter and create that chewy, fudgy texture.
  • Flour: Just enough to hold everything together while keeping the brownies soft and tender.

How to Make Nutella Brownies

In a bowl, whisk together eggs.

Then add in Nutella and whisk until combined. Finally, mix in flour and a pinch of salt.

Glass bowl of Nutella brownie batter being whisked until smooth and glossy.

Press brownie batter into a 5×8″ baking pan. Line it with parchment paper for easier removal if you would like. Add a few dollops of Nutella on top and swirl them with a knife.

Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F or until the center is set. Sprinkle flake sea salt on top if desired. Cool then cut this recipe for brownies with Nutella into 8 slices and serve.

Recipe Tips

  • Do not overbake. The key to getting fudgy brownies with rich chocolate flavor is to slightly underbake them. They’ll continue to “bake” as they cool.
  • Nutella swirl. For an extra decadent top, use more than one Tablespoon of Nutella for a thicker swirl.
  • Finish strong. Sprinkle flake sea salt on top for the perfect sweet and salty bite, or serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Mix-in’s: If you’d like to dress these up a little, add in a dash of vanilla, pinch of salt and 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts. You can also sprinkle some flake sea salt when they come out of the oven.
Storage: Store the nutella brownies in a covered container on the counter for 3 days or in the freezer for 3 months.

Tips and Variations

  • Add-ins. Stir in a splash of vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, or mini chocolate chips. You can even spread ganache on top like I do with my homemade cosmic brownies.
  • Gluten-free. Swap the flour with almond flour for an even fudgier texture that’s naturally gluten-free.

Storage

Store Nutella brownies covered at room temperature for up to 3 days.

To freeze, I like to flash freeze individual brownie slices on parchment paper then transfer to a freezer safe bag and store up to 3 months. Thaw and enjoy!
