Hi there I Heart Naptime fans! I’m Gina & I blog over at Kleinworth & Co, where I share easy DIY projects, fun crafts & a whole lot of recipes. I’m absolutely thrilled that Jamielyn invited me to share her space today. I have been a long time reader of this AWESOME blog & I always love having a chance to be here sharing a little bit of me with you all.

This time of year I love to keep it simple when creating recipes for the family. If I can make something great using only 3-5 ingredients, then it’s on my permanent list of favorites. Something as light & refreshing as a glass of lemonade is so welcome this time of year. It’s nice to have along side of a meal or while relaxing with the kids by the pool. But it’s easy to take that simple beverage & turn it into a great treat.

With the addition of ice & frozen strawberries this quickly becomes something that doesn’t just go along side the main event. It BECOMES the main event, which is especially great when hosting summer gatherings. You will definitely want to make this in large batches because friends & family will keep coming back for more. I’m sharing the (somewhat smaller) 1/2 pitcher version here today.

Frozen Strawberry Lemonade

Ingredients:

8 ounces lemonade
1 cup whole frozen strawberries
2 cups ice

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in your blender & blend on high for several minutes
Once slushy it's ready to serve.
Garnish with lemon wheel if desired

That’s it! So simple & refreshing too. Definitely a great recipe to share with family, friends & guests. I know I will be making several pitchers full for our next summer party. It’s great when a recipe comes together so quick & is loved by the masses. Enjoy!!

I made these and I added mint to some, and cilantro to another, and coconut to yet another. All were a hit!
