Easy Fudge Recipe
This creamy, firm, melt-in-your-mouth 3-ingredient chocolate fudge is everything you want in a chocolate treat. It has rich chocolate flavor, a smooth texture, and comes together without the tricky steps that make traditional fudge finicky.
Along with my Kraft fantasy fudge recipe it’s one of favorite chocolate fudge recipes because its foolproof. It takes about 10 minutes to prep and requires no boiling, no candy thermometer, and no special equipment. Simply melt, mix, and chill for a quick homemade dessert that’s great for holidays, gifting, or satisfying a chocolate craving.
3 Easy Ingredients

- Sweetened condensed milk: This makes this easy chocolate fudge smooth and creamy!
- Semisweet chocolate chips: I love to use a high quality chocolate chip brand like Ghiradelli. You could try a combination of chips including milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips or white chocolate chips.
- Salted butter: Adds rich taste and the salt balances flavors.
How to Make 3-Ingredient Chocolate Fudge

- To start making your easy fudge recipe, line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, add chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir combine and microwave in 30 second increments until the chocolate has melted.
- Quickly pour chocolate mixture into prepared pan, spread evenly and press down with a spatula. Refrigerate until set then cut into squares with a plastic knife.

Recipe Tips
- Use good-quality chocolate chips: The flavor and texture of this easy 3-ingredient fudge depends on them, so choose a brand you know melts well and you like.
- Line the pan with parchment paper to make lifting and slicing much easier. Leave an overhang so you can pull the fudge out cleanly once it sets.
- Don’t overheat the chocolate. Melt low and slow to keep the mixture smooth. Overheating can cause the chocolate to seize or turn grainy.
- Stir until completely combined. Make sure the chocolate and sweetened condensed milk are fully blended for the creamiest texture.
- Add mix-ins at the end. Chopped nuts, crushed candy canes, mini marshmallows, or a sprinkle of flaky salt work great and won’t affect setting.
- Chill until firm. Give itenough time in the refrigerator to fully set before slicing—this helps you get clean, sharp squares.
