Better than anything cake!

Better than ‘anything’ cake came first to mind  is one of my husband’s favorite cakes. This delicious cake is made with devil’s food chocolate cake, infused with caramel and sweetened condensed milk (my fave!) then topped with Cool Whip and Heath toffee bits. Seriously, does it get any better than that?! I don’t think so. ;)

Better than anything cake ...seriously amazing!

Better than anything cake!

  • 1 box devil's food cake mix (+ ingredients on box)
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12-ounce) jar caramel ice cream topping
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip
  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate heath toffee bits

1. Bake the cake according to the directions.
2. Remove the cake from the oven and poke holes all over the top with a butter knife or fork.
3. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cake. Then drizzle the can of sweetened condensed milk over top. Allow the topping to soak into the holes.
4. Once the cake is at room temperature, top with Cool Whip and toffee bits.
5. Store in the refrigerator one hour before serving.

Better than anything cake on ... this cake is amazing!

I made my husband this delicious cake for his birthday and he absolutely loved it!

So have you tried this cake? How did you like it?

Hee hee! I got a good chuckle out of this! That’s how a crafty mama does it! Mixing a chocolate cake recipe with a cologne review. The cake looks delicious and who doesn’t love their man smelling good! :) Happy birthday to your hubby!

I let the cake cool before I poked holes and added the Carmel and condenced milk. Did I just screw it up?

Sorry you respond to your comment too late. I’m interested to know how the cake turned out? I would think that it would still taste good but that the consistency wouldn’t be the same.
