Why I Love This Restaurant Copycat
- Chili’s restaurant salsa recipe: Is easy to make at home! Add some corn tortilla chips, Chili’s skillet queso and southwestern egg rolls and it’s like at the restaurant.
- Fresh Tex-Mex flavor: This copycat Chili’s salsa is smoother than a chunky pico de gallo and perfectly balanced with tangy tomatoes, onion, and mild heat.

How to Make Chili’s Salsa Recipe

Add all copycat salsa ingredients to a blender or food processor. Blend just until combined, you want it smooth but with a little texture, not puree. Pour into a large container, cover and chill for at least one hour. Serve.

Recipe Tips
- If you love salsa with some heat and spice, leave the seeds in your jalapeno peppers.
- Chill for at least an hour so the flavors meld and taste even more like the Chili’s salsa restaurant favorite.
- Served traditionally with chips and salsa, you can also use it with crockpot salsa chicken, add to taco salad or spoon over fish.
- While a batch of fresh homemade salsa is served within a day, you can store it in the fridge in a mason jar or covered container for up to a week.

A+++++!! My daughter and I go on lunch dates frequently and she always requests Chili’s because she loves the salsa – well, we all do… This recipe is absolutely perfect! And it is so easy to make and doesn’t require fresh tomatoes which is perfect for us here in the Midwest. Thank you so much!! We’ll keep making this over and over!

When I saw this recipe this morning, I knew I needed to make it, because I was serving tacos to a hungry group working on my yard. When I went to make tacos I realized I was out of taco sauce, I used your salsa, I heated it with the taco meat, it was so delicious. I will use this instead of my bottled taco sauce from now on. Everyone loved it.
I have substituted several ingredients this last week In preparing meals, because I stock my pantry according to the season, which I need to do this week.
I am looking for a home made enchilada sauce, do you have a recipe that you could recommend?
Our family is enjoying your recipes, thanks for sharing, Dixie

Oh my gosh! The BEST salsa ever! My whole family has very different tastes in foods and textures, but Chili’s salsa is something we actually all agree upon, so this recipe was something I was really looking forward to trying. It did NOT disappoint! I made a double batch and only changed it super slightly by adding a touch of olive oil (just felt like it needed a little fat). We all went crazy over it! I’m planning on making a ton and canning it so we can use fresh cilantro from the garden this summer and enjoy the salsa through the colder months (if it lasts that long)! Thanks for the amazing recipe!!

So glad you and the family loved the Chili’s salsa!
