Strawberry Banana Cheesecake Salad
If you’ve ever had my easy ambrosia salad or my Hawaiian fruit salad, you’ll understand that this strawberry cheesecake salad is a dessert and not a salad in the traditional sense (ie, not a vegetable in sight)!
Like my pineapple fluff dessert, it’s fluffy and creamy, sweet and delicious, and served with fresh strawberries and banana slices throughout. This strawberry dessert is easy to make with a few ingredients and the perfect no-bake treat for your summer potlucks!
Why I Love This Recipe
- It has the flavor elements of a no-bake cheesecake but is ready in 10 minutes!
- It’s super customizable to whatever berries or fruit you want to add in.
Ingredients Notes
Find the full printable recipe with specific measurements below.
- Cream cheese and powdered sugar: The base of the cheesecake salad. Bring cream cheese to room temperature to soften before you whip it.
- Cool Whip: Thaw a tub of Cool Whip or make a homemade Cool Whip to use.
- Vanilla and heavy cream: For flavor and consistency.
- Strawberries and bananas: Wash and slice your strawberries. Make sure to dry them completely, otherwise they’ll thin out the cheesecake fluff. Slice the bananas just before serving to prevent browning.
How to Make Strawberry Cheesecake Salad
Wash, dry, and slice your strawberries. Only slice the bananas if you plan to serve this salad right away.
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until creamy. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla and continue mixing until well blended.
Fold in the Cool Whip and heavy whipping cream then gently stir in the sliced fruit and enjoy!
Cheesecake Salad Tips and Variations
- Include some miniature marshmallows or shredded coconut in the mix.
- Mix in strawberry yogurt to enhance the strawberry flavor in the cheesecake mixture.
- Use just the strawberries or just the bananas, or use your favorite fresh fruit or fresh berries like raspberries, peaches, pineapple, blackberries, mango or blueberries.
- Serve with graham crackers or Nilla wafers for scooping! You can also sprinkle some Graham Cracker crumbs on top for some crunch.

Recipe FAQs
Sure, you can make this in advance. I suggest adding the bananas just before serving so they don’t turn brown, however, the rest can be made and kept in the fridge to chill until you’re ready to take a bite.
If you’re making this days in advance, I suggest keeping the strawberries separate as well, just to avoid any excess water getting into the creamy mixture.
This creamy dessert needs to be kept refrigerated. It’ll stay fresh for up to 2-3 days, but I am sure it’ll be gone way before that!
