YUMMY! I used make this same thing (it's been a while) & you've motivated me to make it this weekend!! :)

I think this is the first comment I've made…can't quiet remember. But I have to say that I love your blog and this recipe will be made at my house, for sure! This looks so yummy and sounds too simple not to make. We love having little desserts around the house here and the kids almost expect some sort of dessert after dinner.

I posted a similar one on my blog a while back. This is one of our favorites but I havent made it with ice cream sandwiches before. Will have to give it a try! Probably alot less messy than just using ice cream.

Oh Wow that sounds delish! My birthday is coming up… and I think I may just make this, especially since I just found out (after 10 years) that my husband LOVES ice cream sandwiches! :o)

Looks awesome just wondering if you’re making ahead of time do you top with cool whip right before serving?!? Can you refreeze it if it’s all not eaten? And does it need to thaw out at all before serving?  Sorry so many questions but thanks for your help

    • I Heart Naptime posted on January 15, 2016 at 9:39 am (#

The Cool Whip needs to be thawed to spread on top, but can be refrozen. Yes, you can re-freeze, but I would do it quickly after serving. No, it doesn’t need to be thawed before serving. Happy to help! :)
