These pretzel sandwiches are so easy to make that the kids can help too! I let my girls help me with unwrapping the Rolos and placing them on top of the pretzels, and they did a fantastic job. Once you’ve got them all set up, you just pop them in the oven for a couple of minutes to soften the chocolate, and then you’re ready to top them with another pretzel.

Once they’ve cooled completely, melt your white chocolate and dip the pretzel sandwiches halfway, then sprinkle with holiday sprinkles. So easy and festive too!

These Rolo pretzel sandwiches really do have everything – chewy caramel, crunchy pretzel, smooth chocolate, and fun sprinkles! You’ll definitely want to double the batch, because these little treats disappear fast!

Rolo Pretzel Sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • 50 small square pretzels
  • 25 ROLO’s
  • 8 ounces white chocolate
  • 1/4 cup holiday sprinkles, optional

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 250°F. Place 25 of the square pretzels on a baking sheet lined with parchment or foil. Place one Rolo candy on top of each pretzel.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake 3 minutes, until the Rolos have softened. Remove from the oven and place a square pretzel on top of each Rolo to form a sandwich. Let cool completely.

Add the melting wafers to a microwave safe bowl. Heat for 1 minute at 50% power, then stir. Continue to heat at 30 second intervals , stirring in between, until melted.

Dip one half of each pretzel sandwich into the melted chocolate. Allow the excess chocolate to run off, then return to the baking sheet. Sprinkle with holiday sprinkles. Allow to cool completely before serving.

Super cute and simple right? They would make the perfect addition to your holiday plate! You could also make these year round with just the white chocolate or by using different color sprinkles.

  6. These look absolutely yummy and because of that I’m sure they don’t last long. So I would like to know if these freeze well because I’m trying to get a jump on my Christmas cookie list.

    • I wouldn’t freeze caramels – the ice crystals change the structure of the sugars. Good things to freeze are slice and bake cookies – those you can freeze the dough, defrost, and bake easily. :)

  7. Sooo festive!

  8. These look so yummy and easy to make for the Holidays.   Thanks for sharing.😍

Hi Ronie! If you home is rather warm (mine is too, the air conditioner can’t quite keep up!), I’d store these in the fridge in a container with a lid and take them out about an hour before serving.

  13. Now I have a new idea for Christmas treats at work and for neighbors. Thanks!

  14. hi there

these are the coolest funnest thing ever. i think they would be so awesome as well for halloween. just add some orange color to the white chocolate and then some colored sprinkles for halloween after. i might just make them. black and orange i love. just a thought but it would be great for adults and kids at parties etc.

  15. These look so easy  and yummy. I can’t wait to make them.

  16. These are so delicious! Can’t stop snacking on them!

  17. These look delicious and so easy and perfect to have my grandkids help me make them. They will love it. Can you also use miniature peanut butter cups?

  18. Holy smokes those was so easy and yummy! I was too lazy to dip in white chocolate so I just sprinkled the beads on top and it was great as is. My 9 yr old helped and I can’t wait to make them! again.

  19. Looking forward to making these for teacher gifts this week. I’m curious what kind of white chocolate you’re using. Is it the melting chips like what you get at Michael’s? Or or those bagged white chips like what you get in the baking section of the grocery store? Some recipes that use white chocolate say NOT to use the bagged white chips so I want to make sure I’m getting the right thing. Thanks!

    • Yes! We used the candy melts! Typically you can find them in the baking section during the holidays, too.

I prefer the white chocolate chips, too. It makes a thicker chocolate, though, which can seize and burn more easily. But you could definitely use those if you prefer!

  20. These things went fast at my office party. I substituted the white chocolate with chocolate almond bark. I also made some with almond butter instead of Rolos.

  21. My Niece made these for her Bunco party, they were a hit…so delicious.

  22. i like easy and my grandchildren will love them as much as we will too

  23. How long will these keep?

  24. Sounds delish!

  25. How can I print these candy recipes

  26. These look yummy…I make something similar, called Elf Buttons…when you pull the pretzel/rolo tray out of the oven, place aChristmas M&M in the center of the rolo (tap gently to seat the M&M), and let cool. Very cute, and easy to have the kids help.

  27. I just got done making the rolo pretzel sandwich’s. How did you keep your rolos from remelting when you dipped them into the white chocolate.  I kept noticing that my white chocolate was tinged with a little brown.
    Thanks
    Martina
