Key Takeaways: Snicker Pie

  • No-bake: Everything comes together in a prepared graham cracker crust with less than 10 ingredients.
  • Texture: Creamy filling with crisp apples, chewy Snickers pieces and a crunchy crust.
  • Flavor: Sweet caramel and tart apple in every bite.
  • Best for: An easy fall dessert, potluck or make-ahead treat.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

This Snickers apple pie was inspired by my Snicker salad, one of my favorite easy apple desserts. It takes that simple combination of apples, Snickers and Cool Whip and turns it into a fun pie everyone loves.

It’s also a great way to ease into fall baking season. If you love easy seasonal desserts like this, my pumpkin cheesecake lasagna is another favorite.

Find the full printable recipe with specific measurements below.

  • Graham cracker crust: Make your own at home or keep it simple with a store bought crust.
  • Green apples: A tart green apple holds up well in the Snickers Bar pie and balances the sweetness.
  • Caramel sauce: For that delicious caramel apple taste!
  • Snickers: You will need 30 miniature Snickers candy bars.
  • Cool whip: You can use store-bought or make your own homemade Cool Whip.
  • Cream cheese: Remember to use softened cream cheese as it will combine better with the powdered sugar.
  • Powdered sugar: Sweet powdered sugar pairs well to balance the tangy cream cheese in the filling.

Snickers Apple Pie Recipe Tips

  • Instead of a graham cracker crumbs crust try an Oreo crust, pretzel pie crust or make a chocolate graham cracker crust instead!
  • Use homemade whipped cream instead of Cool Whip. You will need 3 cups.
  • For extra caramel flavor, add a drizzle of sauce to the pie crust as well as on top.
  • Love peanut butter Snickers pie? Add 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter in with the cream cheese filling and it’s like a peanut butter mousse (nougat).
  • For the best Snickers apple pie recipe, drizzle chocolate sauce on top along with the caramel sauce and add some chopped peanuts, too, YUM!

Snicker Pie FAQs

How do you keep apples from browning in Snickers pie?

Toss the chopped apples with a little lemon juice before folding them into the filling. You only need a small amount so the lemon flavor doesn’t overpower the pie.

What apples are best for Snickers apple pie?

Granny Smith apples are my favorite because their tart flavor balances the sweet Snickers and caramel. Honeycrisp or Pink Lady apples also work well if you prefer something a little sweeter.

How long does Snickers apple pie last in the refrigerator?

Store the pie covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The crust and apples are best during the first day or two, so I recommend enjoying it sooner if possible.

Can you freeze Snickers apple pie?

I don’t recommend freezing this pie. The apples can become watery and the creamy filling may change texture once thawed. It’s best made fresh and stored in the refrigerator.

Note: This pie is best on the first day! If you want to keep the apples from browning, you can put a little lemon juice on them. You can also leave the apples out if preferred.
10/19/21: Updated the recipe to have powdered sugar instead of sweetened condensed milk to thicken the filling.
