These easy no-bake desserts are the best way to satisfy a sweet tooth without turning on the oven. From layered icebox cakes to cookies and pie, there’s something here for every craving.
I’ve been making no-bake desserts for years, but ever since we moved back home to Arizona they’ve turned into a full-on lifesaver. From late spring to late fall, the last thing I want to do is turn on the oven. These recipes have saved more weeknight dessert cravings and last-minute potluck contributions than I can count.
If you’re new here and don’t know where to start, my three go-tos are the strawberry icebox cake (the one I make every time berries are in season), the banana pudding that disappears at every potluck, and the best rice krispie treats my kids judge all other rice krispie treats against. The avalanche cookies are the newest addition and already in heavy rotation.
The rest of this list is organized by type, so scroll to whatever you’re in the mood for. Cakes, cookies, ice cream, fruity stuff, chocolate, kid-friendly, and homemade candy. There’s something here for a Tuesday night sweet tooth and something here for company.
